Internet Marketing Resources

Many people are wondering where they can find the best internet marketing resources, here I am sharing a few resources that have been useful to me.

Domain Names

One of the first things you will have to do when you get serious about taking your business online is to register a domain name. I often get asked about the best places to register a domain name, how to register cheap domain name, how much does it cost to register a domain name.

Here are a the main resources I use:

  • Name Cheap – cost is normally around US $9 per domain name
  • Crazy Domains – I normally use these to register Australian domain names (domain names that end in .com.au). The cost is AU$ 12.95 per year with a minimum sign up of 2 years

Hosting

What is the best hosting service?

What is the best hosting service?

Again, I get a lot of questions about hosting. When I first started I also didn’t know who to go with. You wonder What is the best hosting service? What is the best web hosting site?

I use Hostgator for all my hosting. They have been excellent for the entire time I have been with them and they only charge US$ 9.95 for unlimited hosting. Even if I register my domain name with name cheap, I simply transfer the DNS hosting to Hostgator because they provide such great value!

Email Autoresponders

Some people don’t even know what an email autoresponder is when they start out in internet marketing. But email autoresponders are one of the most important tools in your internet marketing resources toolbox.

You can use these autoresponder email tools to build you very own database of customers. Once they are on your email list you can get in touch with them, and make them an offer any time you like! So of course you want to know what the best autoresponders and email tools are!

Personally, I use Aweber for all my email autoresponders.

They are easy to use, have great instructions, are well priced and reliable.

May I thank you for adding that astonishing info. I have learned a lot from it. To run a home office is very challenging. One has to be disciplined and work hard, fulfill every task organized and structured in order to overcome all these disturbances and disruptions. To stay organized with my emails I use Email Sorter Wizard, a MS Outlook add-in that helps me to stay organized with my inbox too. It is so easy to create the rules and the add-in is organizing all my emails the way I want. Interesting post and I am sure every reader enjoyed reading it.

Hi Alma,

Yes, sorting emails is important, and so is scheduling and finding all the other little tools that save a little time and make our home office more efficient.

Thanks for your comment, Janna
